Digital Insurance has openings for Benefit Consultant to manage an existing book of small group business. Working out of your home office, the benefits consultant is responsible for the day-to-day servicing of our clients in the Seattle and Washington state market through proactive communication and strategic client management.


  • Successfully and strategically service and maintain assigned book of business;
  • Grow book of business through cross-sale opportunities;
  • Serve in an advisory capacity for clients;
  • Manage the entire renewal process;
  • Conduct needs analysis and mid-year strategy call;
  • Conduct enrollment meetings and other face-to-face visits, for approved cases;
  • Advise clients in reducing costs while offering competitive benefits options;
  • Assist client with 5500 form filings, as applicable;
  • Build relationships with clients through proactive communications;
  • Communicate and educate clients on latest trends, concerns and changes in the industry;
  • Complete assignments as assigned by manager;


  • Prior experience in broker agency or benefit administration firm a must;
  • Current life and health insurance license;
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Familiarity and practical knowledge of quoting process and tools;
  • Must be self-motivated and disciplined;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Strong organizational skills;
  • Ability to manage one”s workload;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiar with database applications;
  • Knowledge of health and ancillary products;
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment;
