Business Blog Writer

Seeking an experienced writer who can conduct interviews via phone and email to generate ideas for blog articles. You would be required to do interviews with the company’s staff, customers, and topic experts —  and take the  concept from the interview,  do the necessary research to turn it into a story.  They would  like 3 to 5 blog articles published each week.

This is a work from home job but the candidate should be based in metro-Detroit and ideally go into the offices every few weeks to meet with team members or sit in on team meetings in an effort to seek story ideas.

Compensation: $25/hour, paid ever two weeks.


  • Business and technology writing experience (will require you to share published articles for our review)
  •  Interviewing experience
  •  Ability to take a concept and turn it into a story
  • Currently completing or have earned a Journalism degree
  • Knowledge of SEO – priority is writing good stories, with awareness of being keyword friendly
  • Most all articles will link to downloadable content or to request a product demo. Need to show ability to write good stories that tie back to these calls-to-action.
