Customer Service / Short Sale Coordinators

GCS Title, Florida based firm, in the process of expanding their business to additional states over the course of this coming year is  looking to hire several short sale coordinators to join their team immediately, to assist home sellers throughout Florida in getting their short sales approved.

They are looking for candidates who are looking to work from their own home office – either part time or full time.

This position is an Independent Contractor position (1099 Misc) and you determine your level of income based on the number of files you can manage and process. Compensation is on a per-file-basis.

They are looking for excited, positive and energetic individuals who have worked either in a related field (mortgage/loan processing, short sale processing/negotiations), or who have experience in a customer service position where you spend 75%+ of your time on the phone.  Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Duties include:

  • Work with Homeseller to gather necessary financial documents that lender requires
  • Confirming accuracy and completeness of financial document package- confirming accuracy and completeness of short sale package per Lender requirements
  • Work with Lender to obtain approval of the short sale transaction
  • If necessary obtain additional information from seller
  • Managing the file until an approval is obtained from Lender


  • Extremely PC literate, there will be aptitude testing for this requirement
  • Ability to work in a paperless work environment, i.e. all documents are scanned and managed online
  • Ability to follow our work flow process and utilize our online contact management tools, etc. (your progress on each file will be monitored and audited and we have a minimum requirement for lender follow up, etc)
  • Extremely detail oriented
