Customer Service Specialist

A Washington DC’s premier provider of home music lessons for kids is looking to add a customer service specialist. The owner has been doing all customer service duties and now they are looking for someone to take over the job.

This is a 20 hours per week. You can work from home but you must live in DC or surrounding area.

You will be responsible for interacting with customers, by email and phone, to connect students with their music teachers, handle and resolve complaints. Perform data entry into FileMaker database. Make daily phone calls to follow up with students, teachers and resolve any issues.

You will get paid for 4 hours per day at $12.50/hr. You are a subcontractor and will receive a 1099.

Experience:
Minimum one (1) year experience. Pleasant telephone voice/manner, ability to operate Gmail and FileMaker is required to perform the job. Ability to compose polite, concise correspondence is a must. Knowledge of FileMaker is required. Sales experience a plus but not required.
