The Clinical Support Specialist reports directly to the Senior Manager of Sales Training, and is responsible for assisting in all phases of customer interaction, to include the sales process; customer training and monitoring implementation of sales & marketing programs and activities within the regional territory. Is responsible for assisting in the identification, training, mentoring and appropriate utilization of the Field Educators

Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Training of customers in the use of the OnControl and Bone Access products, Interventional Access products and monitoring of FE educational activities
  • Customize, monitor and track product deployment plans for accounts in conjunction with the TM and RSM
  • Provide direct clinical support to the TM and all customers
  • Responsible for ongoing maintenance of SF.com customer database for all assigned accounts
  • Ensure all training records are complete and attached in SF.com
  • Ensure accuracy of account data
  • Identify and Mentor Field Educators
  • Assist with the recruitment of and coordinate the development and training of the Field Educator team in conjunction with the Education Department
  • Monitor overall effectiveness of the Field Educators by evaluating overall presentation performance with customers as well as monitoring increased product utilization
  • Other assigned duties and responsibilities as required to meeting corporate goals
  • Adhere to and ensure the compliance of Teleflex’s Code of Ethics, all Company policies, rules, procedures and housekeeping standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors’ Degree
  • Possess minimum five years experience in the medical field; preferably hospital based med/surgical oncology environments. ICU and/or OR experience will also be considered.
  • A minimum of four years instructor experience (PALS, ACLS, etc.)
  • Clinical proficiency in area of clinical training and experience with one of the Vidacare product lines preferred
    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Exhibits strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as presentation skills.
  • Exhibits strong time-management and organizational skills.
  • Established track record of building and maintaining relationships with internal and external customers.
