Through the design and implementation of various types of research studies and the strategic interpretation of data, we provide  our external clients with meaningful real-life insights about healthcare utilization and costs, patterns of medication use, health outcomes, disease burden and beyond. We’re passionate about combining and analyzing diverse types of primary and secondary data to extract new, actionable discoveries about our members and their health-related behaviors. Duties

  • Overseeing the development of research proposals and protocols for clients, ensuring that studies are designed in a feasible, scientifically sound and most cost effective manner.
  • Overseeing the implementation of projects that involve primary data collection, mixed methods or prospective observational or interventional healthcare outcomes studies from inception to final report or publication
  • Provide expert recommendations in for the design and execution of research studies, ensuring a scientifically sound approach that is in line with CHI business objectives and strategic vision and mission
  • Work collaboratively with CHI business development in delivering advanced capability presentations to clients, and generating new research business opportunities for CHI.
  • Human capital management and development for direct reports
  • Assisting the Practice Area Leader on strategic planning and infrastructure development activities
  • Assisting the Practice Area Leader on staff recruitment

Qualifications:

  • Healthcare / research -oriented degree (e.g., PharmD, public health, epidemiology, outcomes research, biostatistics)
  • Understanding of research methodology and the managed care arena, and how it applies to health outcomes research
  • Experience managing teams working on healthcare research projects (HEOR, primary research, claims data research, clinical trials, etc).
  • Strong verbal and written communication
