OnCall Scheduling Coordinator

The On-Call Scheduling Coordinator works under the supervision of the Operations Manager or designee during scheduled on-call hours. Responds promptly from home and with sensitivity to telephone calls  from employees, patients, family members,  nursing homes and others regarding  home care issues.

Schedule includes 7 days on and 7 days off from Wednesday to Wednesday, 5:00 pm to 8:30  am on weekdays and 5:00pm Friday  to 8:00 am Monday during the scheduled weekend, totaling 46  hours biweekly. This job would be perfect for schedulers who need to have their days off or working parents who prefer to have a spouse at home while the other works.


  •  Demonstrated ability to be self-directed, flexible and cooperative in fulfilling role obligation and ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team.
  • Must be able to speak professionally with other health care professionals and be patient and caring with patients and their families. Having a scheduling or staffing background is preferable, but we are looking for the right candidate and will train. Serving seniors is a growing market and here is an opportunity to work with an established company with an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Computer and documentation experience
  • Comparable office experience or an Associates Degree
