Part-time Copywriter

Chegg is looking for a copywriter to join its Ad Operations team. With a focus on supporting our Zinch service – which is transforming how young people connect with colleges, scholarships and grad schools – the copywriter will play an important role in delivering great programs for admissions officers at top universities and colleges across the country.

The ideal candidate is a client-focused, internet-savvy marketer with the energy and passion to build something big. You must have strong research and writing skills and have a proven ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines to the highest quality level

This role is contract, part-time, and can be remote as well. We are looking for copywriters that can commit 10-15 hours a week.


  • Understand and execute compelling marketing and communications programs that raise the Chegg/Zinch profile among and deliver great results for admissions officers at top universities and colleges across the country
  • Write a steady flow of student communications on behalf of Zinch and our university partners


  • Excellent written communication and proofreading skills
  • Ability to work independently, multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong familiarity with social media
  • High standards and a sense of urgency
  • Received or currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism or Mass Communications
