Part Time Work At Home Customer Service Reps (VA)

Capital One is now hiring part-time work at home customer service reps who reside in VA.


  • Need to be onsite in Richmond VA for full-time training 4-6 weeks before beginning part time schedule. Training is Monday-Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
  • Hours of operation are Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 12:00 am & Saturday – Sunday 9:00 am – 10:00 pm
  • There will be set schedules working approximately 30 hours a week. Schedules are typically a one year commitment. However, business need drives how schedules are created and are subject to change.
  • May be requested onsite after training at times for future business needs
  • Requires a home office environment that is free from background noise and distractions
  • A high speed broadband internet service provider is required in the home office space (No dial up or Satellite internet service providers). A hardwired (no wireless) internet connection is required upon start to perform the duties of this job.
  • Internet service provider speed/bandwidth of 756kb per second or higher is required. Please contact your internet service provider for confirmation that you can meet these requirements.


  • Understand and answer account specific questions; deliver exceptional quality service by utilizing all available channels and going above and beyond on every call
  • Educate customers on the utilization of Capital One’s credit cards, rewards services, continued loyalty, and spend, and ability to translate customer behaviors into recommendations for card use and new card acquisition
  • Capable of and comfortable with working through challenges to achieve the desired result.
  • Comfortable with change
  • Proficiency with Microsoft products (Word, Outlook)
  • Able to troubleshoot basic computer issues
  • Thrives in a self-paced environment
  • Able to operate independently and maintain a quiet, remote work environment.
  • Provide feedback to managers to help enhance the customer experience.
