Remote Research Position

February 4th, 2013, social platform for the legal community, is looking for part time Attorneys, law students and paralegals to do research work remotely from their home. There is no geographic preference for this position.

You will conduct internet research to find quality resources (e.g., client alerts, white papers, statutes & regulations, cases, videos, presentations, forms, blogs, news articles) useful to M&A, securities, governance, and general corporate attorneys. You will then aggregate links to these resources for incorporation into our databases .

They will train and pay you to find the quality legal content that corporate attorneys use in their practice. Corporate, M&A, securities and governance law experience is preferred, but not required.

Because researchers will work remotely, Candidates will need Internet access and MS Excel. We do expect you to commit to at least 20 hours per week for four to eight weeks.

$18-25 per hour depending on experience. Independent contractor status.

While they will provide you with the training and guidance to enable you to successfully complete this project, they are looking for a candidate with the maturity to work independently, efficiently and keep deadlines.
