Remote Tour Manager

Gourmet Walks, San Francisco’s leading culinary tour company, is seeking a day-to-day tour manager. This is an entry-level work from home position requiring a computer, Internet connection and phone. Our ideal candidate is self-motivated and independent who will enjoy working behind the scenes to keep our company running smoothly. Weekly meetings with company president in Marin required, along with field visits to various tour locations.

Customer Communication

  • Respond to customer phone calls, emails and voicemails
  •  Handle forwarding and correspondence with Gourmet Walks virtual receptionists
  • Contact customers when tours need to be canceled or rescheduled, cross-sell tours, process customer refunds
  • Process private tour bookings, including scheduling of guides and communicating tour details, sending contracts, processing payments
  • Monitor online tour schedule, adding dates and new tours as needed
  • Update E Ticket information as needed
  • Manage relationships with ticket resellers and update tour information when needed
  • Create and email gift certificates as sales come in, manage gift certificate master list
  • Handle all gift certificate scheduling inquiries
  • Manage donation requests

Compensation: $12/hr
