Virtual Customer Care Rep Direct TV

Direct TV is hiring virtual Customer Care Representative, to provide technical support for programming and/or equipment issues. You’ll answer a wide array of questions and provide education on complex issues. You’ll also need to be able to diffuse customer frustrations by providing solutions and determining service options.

Requirements:

  • you must be able to navigate multiple software programs, windows applications, and use web-based search engines.
  • You need active listening skills to understand the issue and troubleshoot resolutions using the tools, resources, and procedures for DIRECTV.
  • As an at-home representative, you should be tech savvy and able to maintain your home office, troubleshoot software and restart programs; including knowing how to clear web cookies and browser history as well as temporary web files.
  • You’ll also need to use appropriate grammar and tone to provide information to customers based on their eligibility for offers and promotional products and stay current on all seasonal promotions.

Other requirements:

  •  High school diploma or GED.
  • Flexible to work all shifts as required (evenings, weekends, and holidays)
  • Able to attend each class of the 6-week training period.
  • Have a distraction free, ergonomically satisfactory work environment.
  • Meet all equipment/internet connectivity and phone requirements.
  • Pass a background and drug screen.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge/Skill Requirements:
  • Minimum of 1 year of continuous and verifiable employment.
  • Minimum 6+ months of recent and continuous customer service, retail, or call center experience preferred.
  • Experience in a performance-managed environment preferred.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced, conflict resolution environment.
  • Ability to be effective in a light sales (informative upselling) environment.
  • High level of PC navigation ability in a Windows environment with the ability to quickly learn client specific technical programs, and working simultaneously with multiple software applications and ability to learn internal and external systems to an expert troubleshooting level.
