Virtual Events Manager

ON24 is seeking virtual Events Managers. The Virtual Events Manager is responsible for the planning and successful delivery of ‘live’ and ‘on-demand’ virtual events. This includes managing multiple simultaneous event projects – coordination of setting up virtual environments and training the client on the ON24 platform. In addition, the Virtual Events Manager assists with client marketing efforts by reviewing plans and promotional materials, and providing feedback and guidance.

This role will be based out of our Charlotte office, but can be remote on the East Coast.

  • Create and manage project timelines; ensure deliverables and milestones are met and act as the primary point of contact for clients and project related issues.
  • Provide documentation and training for show organizers, exhibitors, sponsors, and speakers
  • Manage interaction with third-party vendors.
  • Oversee the production of audio/video assets
  • Provide quality assurance for all show elements.
  • Manage the live event day(s) efforts including direct customer support for all show related product and service elements.
  • Drive client satisfaction with excellent customer service
  • BS/BA degree with minimum 2 years project management experience – or the equivalent skills and work experience in a related field.
  • A solid understanding of live and on-demand streaming media technologies combined with a working knowledge of audio/video streaming and codecs, Enterprise SaaS experience desirable
  • Strong Internet and Web technical skills including intermediate knowledge of HTML and FLASH
  • Outstanding customer service, sales support, and project management skills.
  • Strong organizational, planning, management and communication skills.
  • Professional experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
