Work At Home Writing For WritersWeekly

May 14th, 2013

http://writersweekly.com is looking for work at home writers.

In each issue, they publish a freelance success story and pay $40 for non-exclusive rights to these. Success stories average 300 words. Freelance success stories should, through your personal story, offer advice to other writers on how they, too, can succeed.

Please note they do not publish “one-shot” success stories – meaning they don’t publish stories on how a writer sold one story to one publication. They prefer to focus on actions the writer took to become a successful freelancer or a successful author. Please note that they do not publish success stories that detail the writer writing for free. Their readers need to feed their families with their writing and they strongly discourage writing for free because this ultimately hurts all writers by making publishers think that writing can be obtained for free.

They encourage writers to submit a generous bio to run under their success story where they can advertise their freelance writing service, book, etc. This is over and above the 300 word count.

If you’d like to share your freelance success story with them, please email it to angela@writersweekly.com.
